Message Minute (Remaining in His Love)

After addressing what divides our hearts, we come to the heart of what Jesus wants for us—to remain in His love. Every day, our goal is simply to let His love—like sap in a tree—flow into and through our hearts. This is both profoundly simple and incredibly difficult for many of us to accept. We want techniques, strategies, and formulas. But Jesus says the secret to a fruitful life is remaining connected to Him and His love. When you try to put your heart into an atmosphere of works, striving, and self-righteousness, it will never flourish. But when you position your heart before the Father's love, it will bloom naturally. The roots will draw water, and genuine fruit will emerge—not stapled fruit that soon withers, but authentic expressions of Christ's life within you. Each morning, you wake up into a world you didn't create, to a love you didn't earn, and to a Savior's sacrifice you don't deserve. The risen Christ makes anything possible, and—astonishingly—He likes you! What He wants is for you to rest in and enjoy His love. As Easter reminds us of Christ's victory over death, let it also remind you of His desire for your heart to be undivided, wholly devoted to remaining in His transforming love.

Verse: "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love."
— John 15:9

Reflection Question: What practical step can you take today to position yourself to receive and remain in God's love?

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for Your invitation to remain in Your love. I choose today to abide in You rather than striving in my own strength. Help me to believe and receive the fullness of Your love. Transform me from the inside out as I offer You my whole heart. May Your life flow through me, producing fruit that lasts for Your glory. Amen.
