Message Minute (Money that Serves)

When money serves us as we serve God, it becomes a powerful tool for Kingdom purposes. It can buy us time to spend with family or serve in ministry. It can give us options to bless others and respond to needs. Most importantly, it can enable us to be generous in ways that impact lives for eternity. The path to financial freedom starts with a heart decision to trust God more with what He has already given us. It begins with honoring Him with our first fruits, demonstrating that our trust lies in His provision rather than our own ability to provide. The journey might take time, but every step toward financial freedom is a step toward greater peace, more options for serving others, and increased ability to respond to God's calling. The goal isn't to accumulate wealth for its own sake, but to handle money in a way that serves God's purposes and demonstrates our trust in Him.

Verse: "Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another." - Romans 13:8

Reflection Question: What specific steps can you take this week to begin handling money in a way that serves God rather than masters you?

Prayer: Lord, help me take practical steps toward financial freedom so I can better serve You and others. Give me wisdom to handle money Your way, and help me trust that Your principles lead to true prosperity. Make me a good steward of everything You've entrusted to me. Amen.
