Message Minute (Adopted by Grace)

In a world obsessed with self-made identities, we often forget the most profound truth about who we are: we are children of God. Our identity is not something we achieve, but something we receive. You are not defined by your past failures, your social media persona, or your career accomplishments. You are defined by something far more significant - you are a beloved child of the King. When God looks at you, He doesn't see your mistakes or shortcomings. He sees His child, someone He loves unconditionally. This adoption is not a second-tier status, but a full inheritance. You are royalty in God's kingdom, not because of anything you've done, but because of what Christ has done for you.

Verse: Ephesians 1:5 - "God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure."

Reflection Question: What false identities have you been trying to construct for yourself, and how can you instead embrace your identity as a child of God?

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for choosing me, for adopting me into Your family. Help me to stop striving and start believing in the identity You have given me. Remind me today that I am Your beloved child, and nothing can change that. Amen.
