Message Minute (The Risen King)

The resurrection isn't just a happy ending to a tragic story—it's the vindication of everything Jesus claimed about Himself and His Kingdom. When He walked out of the tomb, He proved He was exactly who He said He was: the Messiah, the promised Savior who would bring God's Kingdom. The empty tomb declares that our King is alive and reigning! But the resurrection isn't just about vindication; it's about participation. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is available to us through the Holy Spirit. Many Christians believe in the resurrection but live as if Jesus is still in the tomb. They may believe intellectually that He rose, but practically treat Him as uninvolved in their lives. Like a device that needs to be plugged into a power source, we need to stay connected to our living King to experience His resurrection power. This power isn't a force to be wielded but flows from a relationship with a person. When we're united with Christ, we participate in His resurrection life and power.

Verse: "He was declared to be the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead." - Romans 1:4

Reflection Question: In what areas of your life do you need to experience Christ's resurrection power? How can you better stay "connected" to Jesus as your power source?

Prayer: Risen Lord, thank You that You're alive and reigning today. Help me live in the power of Your resurrection, staying connected to You as my source of life. Show me what it means to participate in Your resurrection life today. Amen.
