Message Minute (The Kingdom's Future)

The resurrection of Jesus isn't just about His personal triumph over death—it's the beginning of a worldwide resurrection. When Jesus rose from the grave, the new creation broke through into the middle of history. Now seated on His throne, Jesus continues His work of renewal through His Word, Spirit, and people. This gives us tremendous hope. If death couldn't stop Jesus, nothing can thwart His plans. The Kingdom that began like a tiny mustard seed will one day fill the whole earth. The void in the tomb means the world is full of meaning, and we have reason to keep singing. Every act of love, justice, and beauty we perform in Christ's name is a preview of the complete renewal that's coming. Remember that apart from Christ the King, Christianity becomes mere self-help spirituality or religious tradition. But with Christ as our center, the Kingdom is unstoppable! It can take on the worst evil and suffering and bring life from death, beauty from ashes, and wisdom from folly.

Verse: "Behold, I am making all things new." - Revelation 21:5

Reflection Question: How does the promise of complete renewal through Christ's Kingdom give you hope in your current circumstances? What would it look like to live today in light of this coming renewal?

Prayer: King Jesus, thank You that Your Kingdom will one day fill the earth. Until that day, help me live as an ambassador of Your Kingdom, participating in Your work of renewal. Let my life point others to Your unstoppable reign. Amen.
