Message Minute (Happiness Through Serving Others)

True happiness often eludes those who pursue it directly. Paradoxically, we find joy when we focus on others' wellbeing. Paul encourages us to look beyond our own interests and consider others' needs. This shift in perspective aligns us with Christ's example of selfless love. When we serve others, we not only bring joy to them but also experience a deep sense of fulfillment ourselves. It's a beautiful cycle of giving and receiving that reflects God's love in action.

Verse: "Don't be concerned only about your own interests, but also be concerned about the interests of others." - Philippians 2:4

Reflection Question: In what ways can you shift your focus from self-interest to serving others this week?

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to see the needs of those around me. Give me a servant's heart, willing to put others before myself. May I find true joy in reflecting Your love through acts of service. Amen.
