Message Minute (Union with Christ)

Your entire spiritual life can be summarized in two profound words: "in Christ." This isn't just a theological concept; it's the very foundation of your new identity. Instead of running around collecting God's blessings like scattered raindrops, everything you need flows through Jesus. In Christ, you are not defined by your sin or your success, but by your Savior - and He is unchanging. When you feel unwanted, unworthy, or uncertain, your identity remains secure. You are righteous, not because of what you do, but because of who you are in Christ. Christian growth is not about becoming something you are not, but about becoming who you already are. You are already pure, already loved, already victorious. Your job is to live into that identity, not to manufacture it.

Verse: 2 Corinthians 5:17 - "This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”

Reflection Question: What areas of your life are you still trying to change through your own effort, instead of trusting in your identity in Christ?

Prayer: Jesus, thank You that my identity is not a moving target, but is firmly rooted in You. Help me to stop striving and start believing. Teach me to live out of the new creation I already am in You. Amen.
